TERMS

Unless another arrangement has been agreed by us, training must be paid in full no later than the day of the course. A firm booking will not be given without a deposit.

We accept Cash, Company Cheque, Visa or Mastercard. – Make all cheques payable to BC Forklift Safety

Certificates will be issued within 10 days of payment being received in full.

Once a booking is confirmed any cancellations with less than 72 hours notice will be subject to a $60 administration fee

Once a booking is confirmed any cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will be subject to a $200 administration fee. Should the instructor arrive on your site and be unable to perform the training due to factors at your workplace or the unavailability of students customer will be responsible for our minimum charge of 50% of the course booking or $200 whichever is greater. The instructor will do their best to accommodate any last minute additions to the class list, any subtractions from the list without prior notice are subject to a charge up to the full enrollment fee of the course.

On a rare occasion we may have to re-schedule a course at short notice. We will only do this if it is unavoidable and will not accept any liability for any consequential loss.

Conditions

Should a trainee arrive more than an hour late for a training course, we reserve the right to exclude that person without refund of fees at the discretion of the instructor who is conducting the course.

Should the instructor deem that the equipment provided is unsafe to operate, they will halt the training program without refund of fees. If another piece of safe equipment cannot be provided at the time of the course, arrangement can be made for the instructor to return to complete the training at a later date for an additional fee.

We reserve the right to exclude from the course without refund of fees, any person whom the instructor deems to be behaving in a disruptive or antisocial manner, or any person who appears to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol as well as any person who operates the machinery in a dangerous or reckless manner.

Although our instructors endeavor to ensure that all students achieve the necessary standard within the allotted time, a pass is not guaranteed and some students may require further training.

Please do not bring valuables on the training courses we will not accept liability for the loss of such items.

PROTECTIVE FOOTWEAR MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES DURING PRACTICAL TRAINING SESSIONS. PLEASE DRESS FOR THE WEATHER, WE MAY BE WORKING OUTSIDE AND WILL DO SO RAIN OR SHINE.

To ensure we can provide the best training possible please provide the following on site.

  • Trainees that are on time and ready to participate
  • Safe equipment that is fueled/charged and available during the practical portion of the course.
  • A classroom environment (lunchroom, or quiet corner of the warehouse) for the theory portion of the course
  • A safe work area in your building or yard with product or skids that the trainees can use to practice on
  • An accurate class list no less than 48 hours in advance of the class (the instructor will do their best to accommodate any additions to the class list, any subtractions from the list without prior notice are subject to be charged full fee for the subtracted students.)
